Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

The short version: AirTouch runs entirely on your Mac. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no server. Camera frames and dictation audio never leave your computer.

1. What AirTouch processes on your Mac

To work, the App processes data locally, in memory, on your machine:

2. What we collect

Nothing. The App makes no network connections for tracking, analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting. It has no account system. We cannot see how you use it, and we like it that way.

3. macOS permissions

AirTouch asks macOS for the minimum permissions it needs: Camera (hand tracking), Accessibility (moving the cursor and sending input), and Microphone (only if you enable dictation). macOS shows an indicator whenever the camera or microphone is active, and you can revoke any permission at any time in System Settings. Tap esc twice at any moment and AirTouch releases the camera instantly.

4. The website

The airtouch website is a static page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations, as virtually all hosting does.

5. Updates

If the App checks for updates, the request contains only what is technically necessary (the App version being requested). No identifier is attached and nothing is logged beyond standard transient server logs.

6. Children

AirTouch is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, children included.

7. Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights over personal data that organizations hold about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. Your gestures and settings live on your Mac; deleting the App deletes them.

8. Changes to this policy

If AirTouch ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update it and change the date above before the change ships. The promise we will not change: camera frames stay on your Mac.
